Finding time to write…

You’re a wife, mother of a young child, and a flight attendant, when do you find time to write?

I’m constantly multi-tasking.  I take notes at work on the back of catering papers between beverage services.  When I go to the gym, I plot out chapters or blog posts in my head while getting a little cardio in at the same time.  At home I try to schedule  1-2 hours a day for writing while the kid naps or watches a movie.   It ain’t easy.  And my house is always a mess.

I’ve started recording myself with my phone. I’ve also discovered that evernote works really well, even if it is a little slow to launch when there’s no internet access.

Neither voice recorder nor evernote may work well for you when you’re 35,000 ft up in a crowded plane, but I just thought I’d share.
