Hair in New York

I’m back in New York, and in a few hours I’ll be headed to JFK International Airport to work a five hour flight to Los Angeles. But before I leave the crashpad, there’s something I need to share. I mean it’s just too good not to share. I love New York. There are too many reasons to list why I love New York. Hey, what’s not to love, right? But my favorite thing about New York is my hair salon, Symmetry, where Alice, the shop owner, works, because Alice, master of all highlights and lowlights, is truly gifted. I don’t care how bad the roots get, only Alice can touch the hair. Only Alice can straighten the hair. Only Alice can approach the hair. Which is why my hair flies from Los Angeles to New York each and every month. There’s only one word to describe Alice. Amazing. And I was lucky enough to get an appointment with the amazing Alice earlier this morning, which is why I’m now looking so fabulous right now. When the hair looks good, I feel good, and when I feel good, I’m happy, and when I’m happy, passengers are happy, so it’s a good day to fly. So if you’re a flight attendant (or not) and live in New York, take the train to Forest Hills, and you, too, can experience the magic. Just not when I’m in town, ok!

    Wow!

    Gee, your hair loks terrific!

    Really!

I almost didn’t recognize you in the picture.

Can they do men’s hair as well?

I wanted to get a large curl fro with lots of jeri curl in it. And I am going to grow a pencil thin moustache. Going for that 80’s “Adam Ant” look.

    Waddaya think?
