I got a call today from an agent – AN AGENT! Yeah, I got pretty excited, too. I mean it’s about time, right? Well the agent wasn’t interested in my book. Yet. Though she did give me a wonderful idea for another flight attendant book I’ll start working on as soon as I’m finished with SKYDOLL.
Turns out, the agent, the one who said she’s seen my name everywhere (Did I happen to mention I love her?) is the same agent who works with Tom Murphy, author of a very good book, Reclaiming The Sky, a book I wrote about on Gadling.com, a book you should definitely check out if you haven’t already. So anyway, this agent was not looking for me (yet), she was looking for a few United flight attendants based in Seattle who might be interested in doing a little something for charity which would bring a family in need a whole of joy. Now that I’m thinking about it, I don’t need FA’s based in SEA, just UNITED FA’s! Not even sure if what I’m asking can be done, but I’ll save the details for those who might be interested.
No matter; its a general bulletin board that I posted it on and since most people(like me)are busy-bodies, so I’m sure that multiple non-SEA people looked at it.
