Dear Heather,
I’ve got an idea for your next Gadling post – 10 Things I Like About Being a Flight Attendant [Did you do that already?] Here’s an example:
1. Being around smart pilots
2. Being around handsome pilots
3. Being around fashionably dressed pilots.
4. …..who are also brilliant conversationalists
5. …..And if you don’t believe me, just ask one.
6. The joy of helping people.
7. Hosting 142 of my nearest friends for a 2 hour party, 5 times a day.
8. Saving someone’s life.
9. Finding my inner stregnth so as not to kill anyone…no matter how richly they deserve it.
10. Polyester is the new sexy!
What do you think?
Where do you find these smart, handsome, fashionably dressed pilots? Can you send some of them to EWR? Kinda like an exchange program for the airlines.
lol! I like Noah’s idea for this pilot exchange program!
And I do like number 7… I just had one of those yesterday!
Re items 1, 2, 3 and 4 … bwa ha ha ha ha. And I say that with ALL sincerity and as the wife of an airline pilot. If you think it’s tough being an airline pilot (and they all do) try being an airline pilots wife.
Hi Heather, when are you going to post a new piece of that fabulous book of yours?
NOAH / SKY HIGH BOY – Yes, we should start an exchange program. 🙂
LOLA – I should interview you! I bet you’d have a lot of interesting things to share.
MAGDA – I stopped working on my book a few months ago to blog…but I’m itching to go back to work on it. YOu’ve inspired me.
Isn’t Bob married?? 😉
I’m with Noah …. especially with the following:
2. Being around handsome pilots
3. Being around fashionably dressed pilots.
Send some scross the pond … especially for the 747 fleet!
