Your shoes are definitely a good starter… and I could fly with the shoes. Have you looked lately at what the FA ‘s are wearing?! I mean I can understand comfortable… but that Steve Martin line was in the 80’S. Take care Heather, maybe we will see you around campus. Keep the sunny side up it looks good on you.

The First Officer from your last trip

Dear First Officer from my last trip,

I’m glad that my shoes, navy blue Aerosoles, just barely passed your crew shoe test. And I think you meant to write Steve Madden or Doc Martin – not Steve Martin – though I do love them both – Madden and Martin. In fact, I still have a pair of pre 9/11 clunky Steve Madden in-flight shoes and a pair of lace up Doc Martins (I never wore and need to throw out) burried at the bottom of my closet. I also have a copy of Shop Girl, one of my favorite books by Steve Martin, sitting on the book shelf. Let me know if you want to borrow it. It was nice flying with you, too, and I hope to see you again soon.
