The FAA requires flight attendants to be on board for only one reason: passenger safety. The regional jets we fly are configured for 37 or 50 passengers, requiring only one Flight Attendant. Requirements:
You must be 20 years of age or older, read and converse fluently in English and close a 50 lb door multiple times a day. You must an US citizen or hold a valid permanent residency card and valid passport.
