Flying, writing, books, reading, & writing about flying and the books I’m reading

There’s the amazing Margo Candela, signing a copy of her book, Life Over Easy, a book I am currently reading. Like all of her books, Life Over Easy is a witty, fun, quick read, the perfect book for your next trip, particularly a trip to San Francisco because that’s where the book is set, just like her other two books. If you buy it and mail it to me, I’ll have her sign it and then mail it back to you.

Margo and I met for lunch yesterday and talked about…what else, writing! I told her how I was going to finish Skydoll AGAIN (for the 10th time) and she talked about getting her most recent book, Underneath It All, onto the big screen. It’s going to happen, mark my words. It’s just not happening fast enough for Margo.
Wanna know what else is going to happen?

Those are the other books I am currently reading. Okay, okay, besides The Gift of Fear, I’ve only read a couple pages from each book. It’s just too hard to choose which one I want to read first when they all look so good! Sure, I’ve got a lot on my plate, and big time issues when it comes to books. Tell me something I don’t know!
The first book I found on the airplane. Talk about a score! Flight attendants love it when you leave your books behind, so please make sure you bring a good one onboard and forget you left it in the seat back pocket in front of you. The second book I am going to be reviewing (and giving away) on Gadling, along with a post about working in business class. The third book is a book I’ve already read, and love, and will discuss on Gadling, as well. I highly recommend the book to you, and any woman you may know. It’s about trusting your sixth sense. The last three are books about my profession, books I have not read, but have always wanted to read. I do hope they inspire me to finish my book, SKYDOLL, a book I should be working on right now!

  1. Yay, I have Coffee Tea or Me as well…the original FA book…

Have you heard of Around the World in a Bad Mood as well?

  2. Heather,

You write it, I’ll read it, critique it and blurb it. Do it! And my doesn’t my hair look awful! I got it tweaked on Friday and it’s not so horrid. Sad to say though, that’s what I really look like. Let’s go out to lunch again soon! I had fun and that was some tasty food.

  3. GIRLONTOUR – Didn’t read around the world in a bad mood, but I did see the play – THREE TIMES! I loved it. Did you see it? Much funnier than the book, which I did scan.

MARGO – Deal. Your hair looked awsome at lunch, so it must look amazing now.
