For the first time in over two years, I officially had a day off in New York. I’m a commuter, so I normally fly in and out as quickly as possible, working as many hours as I can in six days straight, just so I can hop on a plane and fly back to Los Angeles where the husband and child await. Not today! Today I had a hair appointment with Alice, master of all hair, and when I was done, I took my fabulous looking hair out to lunch with Grace, who also had the day off from flying. Normally she flies to London. Tonight she’s teaching yoga. After a wonderful lunch at Austin Thai, a Thai restaurant on Austin Street, we went to that adorable cup cake place located just a few doors down. And that gorgeous photo up there is a real life picture of my yummy caffe latte. Beautiful, isn’t it?
