Run, flight attendants, run! The New York – Miami crew walks after passengers get hostile. I’ve worked that flight, so I can totally imagine just how bad it must have been. I repeat, Run, flight attendants, run! If you haven’t seen the video, I’ve attached it below. After you watch the video, go to GALLEY GOSSIP and read all about why I no longer fly the New York-Miami route.
I wonder why none of the articles about this have bothered to explain why the crew was late. In my experience, it’s almost never a crew’s fault for being late. It bothers me the way the passengers are almost excused for their behavior because the crew showed up an hour and fifteen minutes late. I wish I could have turned down a few of my flights because of “hostile work environment.” The way some passengers treat their FAs…they should be ashamed of themselves.
KATIE – I totally agree with you. Why hasn’t anyone said WHY the crew was late. Something tells me that if we knew why, the story wouldn’t be as interesting, meaning the crew probably had a legit reason that the passengers did not know about…just my two cents. Thanks, Katie, for your support.
